Cycling

For Adults

Winter Rides

During the winter months, outside of the triathlon season the club runs Sunday morning bike rides. We normally have 3 or 4 groups with a group leader who will set the route and ensure the group are comfortable before setting out. It is important to note that these are not coached sessions and they are free of charge.

The meeting point is the Market Car Park in Rayleigh at 8am and it is common for the group to finish at the Roebuck for a well earned breakfast.

We don't run these sessions when they clash with Cross Country events so keep an eye on the club calendar for dates of winter cycle rides and cross country races.

If you would like to join us on these rides we ask that you first read the key points for group cycling within the club; these provide important safety information about group riding and the safety policies of the club.

Indoor Training

We also have indoor training sessions available. These are done in the comfort of your own home with the Discord service to talk to each other and optionally Zwift. Read more...

Indoor Racing

There are also the Zwift Team Time Trials that take place on Thursday mornings and Thursday early evenings. For this you will need a Zwift ID and will be racing within an East Essex team through the virtual worlds of Zwift. Read more...

For Children

We don't offer a weekly coached session at this time but aim to have regular closed road sessions at Ford's test track in Dunton

Keep an eye on the club calendar for dates of events
