How Much Does It Cost?

£45. 

A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for participants who are not a British Triathlon Home Nation member. For this event, Race Pass costs are £2.00 for participants aged 24 and under, and £8.00 otherwise.

What Age Category am I?

In line with British Triathlon age categories we take ages as at the 31 December of the year of the race. The youngest age for the adult race is 15.

We will have Female and Open categories in all age groups in line with BTF guidelines (read more here)

What are the swim,Bike & run distances?

400M Swim, 20k Bike, 5k run

What Time Does it Start?

TBC; normally race registration opens at 6am with the first competitor starting at 7am

The Swim 

The Adult & Youth swim will 12 lengths of 33.3m pool swum 'Snake' style (Snake style is up and down lane 1, duck under rope, up and down lane 2, duck under rope etc etc)

Transition 1

Transition will be directly outside the pool accessed via poolside fire exit - Walk Don't Run!

Collect your bike and proceed to the far end of transition from the pool to join the bike route.

The Bike

2 laps around local roads which are open to traffic so normal laws of the road apply. Take particular care of pedestrians in Orsett village

Transition 2

Re-enter transition from where you left it previously, rack your bike where you collected it from and proceed to the pool end of transition to start your run

The Run

The run section takes place in the grounds of Blackshots Leisure Centre, three laps ending close to the transition area. 

Results

The results will be avaliable on the Club website as soon as possible after the event has been completed.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals will be accepted up to the 2nd July, 2023 with entry fee refunded less £5 admin charge
