Sunday XC League, Round 3

Round 3 hosted by Leigh Striders will be held on Sunday, 28th December:

Venue:  Hadleigh Country Park, SS7 2PP.  Entry to the park is via Chapel Lane off the A13 in Hadleigh (follow the brown signs).  Parking charges apply and payment can be made via MiPermit - 702107.  Note that this can be paid for in advance - £4.20-2 hours, £5.30-4 hours.  Please DO NOT park in Chapel Lane

Time:  The race starts at 10am, but please be there by 9.30 latest to register, pay warm-up & get to the start line.  Your Cross Country managers will be there from 9.00 - look out for the feather flag in the car park, and later at the start line

Course:  6.5km/4.1miles.  The couse will be mainly same as last year.  However, a key gate may not be open due to grazing cattle, and there may be a slight change to avoid a kissing gate which causes congestion.  Please bear with the organisers for any changes on the day.  The course will be muddy with the odd puddle.  There is just one 120m section of gravel, so suitable for grippy trail shoes or spikes

Entry:  Any club members who are 17+ on the day of the race can take part.  Club kit must be worn.  Entry fee is £5 payable by voucher or transfer (no cash please)

Refreshments:  Available at the Hub but, unfortunately, will not be free
